Accor has signed the management contract for the 350 room Novotel Saigon Center to be built in District 1 in the Ho Chi Minh City, likely to be operational by 2012. The location of the hotel is highly visible from the steps of the Ben Thah Market and also from the road connecting the market. It is located at the same place where the Metropole hotel exists and is surrounded by retail and commercial buildings.
The hotel once ready will have 2 Restaurants, 1 Street Bar, Roof Level Executive Lounge, Swimming pool and Pool for kids, Fitness Center, Web corner on a Mac and 900 square meters of flexible event space. This will be 24 storey hotel with the view of the city and the Saigon river. The guest rooms will incorporate the latest innovations from the Novotel brand.
